Choosing a Special Education Graduate Program
Cairn University’s Department of Special Education offers opportunities to deepen your knowledge and broaden your horizons in this critical field. Our program choices, ranging from 34 to 47 credits, include a master’s in special education and/or certification in special education. Special Education Programs
With growing student enrollment and 46 states reporting a shortage of special education teachers in 2017–18, Cairn’s special education programs prepare you to meet one of the greatest needs in today’s schools, better serving students with special needs in both inclusive classrooms and more restricted settings. With program offerings for individuals with or without teaching certification, Cairn’s special education programs integrate a biblical worldview with the expertise and best practices needed to work with a wide range of students skillfully and well.
