Paul T. Neal

Sr. Vice President for Advancement and Communications

Paul Neal is Sr. VP for Advancement and Communications at Cairn University and co-founder and partner at Charter Oak Research, a marketing research and consulting firm serving private schools, non-profits, and businesses. Paul is also Senior Fellow at Center for the Advancement of Christian Education at Dordt College.

Paul is a graduate of Eastern University (BA), Villanova University (MA), and Temple University (PhD, ABD). Paul has presented and been published on various topics including the use of normative data in analysis, respondent motives, trends in education and online communities, respondent quality in research, governance, and public policy on education.

Paul has contributed to several political encyclopedias and international publications. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at several Philadelphia area universities and consults on appropriate uses of research for marketing research and intelligence needs.

Tammy G. Butler

Vice President for Philanthropy

Tammy has worked in advancement and public relations in higher education and private Christian education for over 20 years.  She had the blessing of working at institutions including Caldwell University, Louisiana Tech University, Shepherd University, Hood College and Hawthorne Christian Academy.  She enjoys building relationships to support the mission of Cairn University and supporting our students to serve Christ. 

Prior to starting at Cairn in 2017, she was the Director of Advancement at Hawthorne Christian Academy in New Jersey where she was responsible for a team of professionals overseeing development, admissions, marketing and strategic planning.

Tammy lives in Fairless Hills, PA with her husband, Jay, and son, Joshua. In her recreational time, she enjoys hiking, tennis, weight lifting, family activities and travel.

Nathan G. Wambold

Vice President of Alumni and Community Relations

Nate oversees all aspects of Alumni Relations at Cairn University and also works with Advancement to support University fundraising.  A member of the Council for Advancement and Support of University Education, he particularly enjoys working to present alumni with the full range of possibility for connecting with their alma mater—professional, personal, spiritual, social, intellectual, and more.

Prior to 2013 when Nate began at Cairn, he was a public school educator and department head in Chester, Limerick, and Souderton, Pennsylvania.

In his recreational time, he enjoys reading, exercise, and spending time in the outdoors.

Keith W. Johnson, CFP®, CWS®

Executive Director, The Regency Foundation at Cairn University

Planned Giving Officer

Keith leads The Regency Foundation at Cairn University and also serves as Planned Giving Officer of Advancement to support the University’s fundraising efforts.  With more than 30 years’ experience as a financial planner, wealth strategist and investment manager, he is able to offer our alumni and friends of the University expertise in advanced charitable gifting strategies as well as estate planning.  Keith also serves as Adjunct Professor of Cairn’s School of Business.

Immediately prior to joining Cairn, Keith served as Senior Regional Manager with Charles Schwab’s Private Client Group in Denver, Colorado where his team managed in excess $3 billion. 

He currently resides in Perkasie, PA with his wife Richene, where they enjoy time with their four grandchildren. 

Dana L. Jalovick

Advancement Database and Office Manager

Currently serving as Database and Office Manager, Dana provides strategic support to the Advancement officers in achieving their fundraising goals and overall University efforts. Dana has served in various roles at Cairn University since 1988, including 25 years of service with her husband, Mark, at Cairn’s Wisconsin Wilderness Campus, a one-year outdoor educational experience.  In 2013, she moved to Cairn’s Langhorne Campus, where she managed the bookstore one year prior to taking a position in the Advancement Department.  

Dana lives in Morrisville, PA with her husband and enjoys spending time with her grown children and grandchildren.  In her recreational time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, biking, backpacking, camping, and cross-country skiing.

Spencer M. Kulhanjian

Alumni and Community Affairs Associate

Spencer supports the Vice President for Alumni and Community Affairs at Cairn University by assisting in a variety of administrative functions including event coordination, constituent record maintenance, and office management.  Spencer enjoys opportunities to facilitate effective communication and standardization of practice in order to increase alumni interaction and integration with the University.

Spencer is a recent Cairn School of Business graduate who enjoys reading, history, and music performance.  

Justin D. Zamroz

Annual Giving Associate

  • BS Biblical Studies, Cairn University
  • MA (Religion), Cairn University

After completing his undergraduate studies, JD joined the Advancement team in 2016 as Advancement Coordinator while completing his Master of Arts in Religion.

Today he serves as the Advancement Department’s Annual Giving Associate, and is responsible for the cultivation of the Cairn Fund through direct appeals and other resources. He also works with the VP of Philanthropy to support the University’s fundraising efforts.

JD currently lives in Doylestown, PA and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, watching sports, and outdoor activities.
