Why Music Education?

Music Education majors graduate with a strong knowledge of music theory, history, and skills, along with a core of education courses that prepare students to teach music. Courses include a wide variety of music studies and educational philosophy. Additionally, students who receive their PA Instructional I certification can test to receive additional teaching certifications in other subjects such as mathematics, library science, and foreign languages.
