Why Pastoral Ministries?
Pastoral ministry requires a deep knowledge of the Bible, plus an understanding of preaching, counseling, and biblical leadership. Students in this program have the chance to develop close relationships with dedicated faculty members, learn practical skills in the domains of preaching and teaching, and receive the opportunity to explore several career paths within the church.

Meet Our Faculty
Bryan Murawski is an Associate Professor for the school of Divinity at Cairn University. He previously served as a pastor for 15 years in NJ and MI. He frequently speaks at camps and retreats. Bryan is a father of four with his wife Janice, also a Cairn alumnus (’08).
Dr. Don Cheyney teaches pastoral and church ministries, as well as Bible classes.
During his time at Cairn, Dr. Cheyney has served in various leadership capacities, including director of the Pastoral Studies program, director of the Church Ministries program, and dean of the former School of Church and Community Ministries.
Prior to serving at Cairn, Dr. Cheyney spent 19 years as a pastor, serving three churches with Village Missions. While in seminary, he also served as a part-time associate pastor of Christian education.
