Matching Gift Week Raises a Total of $215,000 To Support Students

This year, friends, alumni, faculty, and others affiliated with Cairn University were able to raise $115,000 during Matching Gift Week, a time dedicated to raising support for The Cairn Fund. $100,000 of that amount was matched, totaling in $215,000 raised for The Fund.

The Cairn Fund directly supports student scholarships. There are many students at the University who would not be able to afford an undergraduate education if it were not for the scholarships they received. One such student is Ashanley, a pre-med major from the Dominican Republic. You can watch her explain her journey to and experience at the University here.

Surpassing our $200,000 goal is a testament to the dedicated alumni, faculty, and friends of the University have to continue Cairn’s mission of educating students to serve Christ in the church, society, and the world as biblically minded, well-educated, and professionally competent men and women of character.

Thank you to all those who supported our students last week. Your giving will have a lasting impact on the University, our students, and the world in which they will serve Christ.
