Scotty Meiser

Scotty Meiser, a Cairn alumnus, oversees the Mentorship Program for the Academic Resource Center. He ensures students in the Academic Success Program are paired with quality upperclassmen mentors, easing freshmen’s transitions into life at the University.

Scotty has always loved the power of words, whether written, spoken, or sung. He majored in English at Cairn, where he graduated Poet Laureate in 2017. While studying there, he traveled to Israel, performed in several of Cairn’s musicals, and spent his senior year engaging in film criticism. Today, he tutors high school students for the SAT while also volunteering on the teaching team for Redemption Church of Bristol.
