Biography

Dr. Marika Ravin teaches courses such as Linguistics and Language Learning, English Grammar and Pronunciation, and Foundations of Teaching Language Learners both at the undergraduate and graduate level. Throughout her career, Marika has taught ESL to students from kindergarten to graduate school. Currently, in addition to teaching TESOL courses, she has established a community English program, where she mentors new teachers and serves the community. Her research interests include Conversation Analysis and leveraging the use of other languages in the English language classroom. In her spare time, Marika enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.
