Liesl Lawrence

Liesl is a full-time faculty member teaching biology in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She received her B.S. in Biological Science from The Master’s University and her PhD in Integrated Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Her dissertation work focused on the dysregulation of RNA processing in Ewing sarcoma, a pediatric bone and soft tissue cancer.

In her free time, Liesl enjoys playing the piano and spending time outdoors. She also teaches children’s Sunday school and serves on the worship team in her local church.
