Biography

Dr. Wiedis teaches on legal, ethical, and professional issues in counseling. He is also the founder and Executive Director of ServingLeaders Ministries, a ministry that focuses on serving and ministering to pastors, ministry leaders, and their families by providing counseling and training.

Prior to working at Cairn, Dr. Wiedis served on the Villanova Law Review, winning the Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition. He practiced law with Pepper, Hamilton, & Sheetz in Philadelphia, where he handled medical malpractice defense, commercial litigation, and toxic tort cases. He also served as an Assistant City Solicitor. In 1991, he helped established the law firm of Jose & Wiedis, specializing in radiation litigation.  In that capacity, his firm served as national defense counsel to nuclear utilities & created much of the federal case law pertaining to personal injury actions arising from radiation injury.

Dave is married to Miho Kahn, a performing and visual artist and interior decorator. Together, they perform Miho’s one-woman show entitled “Clean Sheets.” In addition to performing this in the US, they have performed Clean Sheets in India, China, and Turkey. They are the proud parents of a daughter who is studying art and a son who serves as a United States Marine. They live in West Chester, PA.
