David S. Smith

David is a full-time faculty member in the School of Business. He teaches courses in business communications, public relations, and strategic management. David has an extensive background in business leadership with a focus on Information Technology, serving organizations like The Vanguard Group, Phoenix Contact, and JP Morgan Chase. Since 2013, David has been working as an entrepreneur providing IT-based services to various clients including The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Highmark Insurance.

In addition to his career in business and IT, David works with the American Baptist Churches as a transitional pastoral leader, currently serving Wayland Temple Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA.
