Cairn Choral Festival

This event promises to foster musicianship, appreciation, and collegiality amongst all participants. We hope that you can join us for this unique artistic experience!
Join Dr. Steven McCollum and the Cairn Chorale for our annual Cairn Choral Festival
The day will include
Combined rehearsal of the festival literature
A sight-reading session for the participants, preparing a piece that will be performed in the concert
A conducting and artistic interpretation session for the directors led by Dr. McCollum with the Cairn Chorale
Lunch for all participants
A concert featuring performances by each participating choir (optional), the Cairn Chorale, and the combined festival choir
Festival Literature to be prepared in advance

- The Festival will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023.
- Check-in will begin at 8:30am.
Fees
- Students = $10 (includes registration, lunch, and festival giveaways)
- Choir Directors = FREE (includes registration, lunch, and director workshop)
- Chaperones = FREE (includes lunch)
Please note:
All high school students from your institution are welcome to attend either the Choral Festival or Experience Cairn Day. Students must choose which event to attend as they each have their own schedule and will not intersect after the opening welcome. Separate registration is required for Experience Cairn Day.
