Cairn is pleased to announce that current Associate Dean of Students Andrew Gordon has stepped into the role of Dean of Students.
Andrew has been an integral part of the Student Life team since 2020. Following the pandemic, he played a pivotal role in facilitating the renewal of the in-person Cairn community, demonstrating his dedication and resilience despite the uncertain future of the post-Covid academic world. But his work has not been limited to Student Life leader. Andrew is also a Cairn alumni who graduated in 2016 with not one, but two BSs, one in Biblical Studies and one in Business Administration. He currently resides in the Wissinoming neighborhood of Philadelphia with his wife Cara and son Ezra, and they are active members of the True Vine Church Community.
“Stepping into the dean of students role is a profound privilege and a humbling responsibility.” Andrew says. “As both an alumnus and a member of the Student Life team, I have experienced the joy and richness of taking part in the Cairn community.
Our Student Life team is filled with service-oriented individuals that love Christ and love students—each has a unique story and testimony of what God is doing and has done in their lives. To lead this team and continue in doing the work of student development, discipleship, and promoting student success is a worthy and joyful endeavor—I am excited to get started and to welcome our students back in the fall.”
Congratulations, Andrew!
