Cairn University is pleased to welcome two new faculty members for the 2026–2027 academic year. These individuals bring academic expertise and professional experience to their respective areas of focus. As members of the Cairn community, they wholeheartedly affirm the University’s foundational statements and are committed to incorporating biblical principles into their teaching and professional practice.
Caleb Daniel Schrader, Assistant Professor
Caleb Schrader has joined the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty, where he teaches English Composition and Introduction to Public Speaking. Before joining Cairn University, he served as an Instructor of Record for first-year composition at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he designed and taught composition courses. Schrader holds an MA in Texts, Technologies, and Literature as well as bachelor’s degrees in English Composition and Rhetoric and Arabic Linguistics, all from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. His academic interests include rhetoric and composition, critical thinking and literacy, J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis, and the relationship between literature and the Christian imagination.
Leone Bilotta, Associate Professor
Lee Bilotta has joined the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty, where he teaches in the Digital Media and Communication program. He brings more than 30 years of experience in Christian higher education, most recently serving as Dean of Academic Planning and Operations and Chair of the Department of Digital Media Communications at the University of Valley Forge. During his time there, he helped grow the department from a single academic program into five undergraduate majors and one graduate program. Bilotta also has more than 15 years of experience in music and media production, has served as executive producer for 17 albums, and consults nationally on church audio and production systems. He holds a Master of Music in Music Education with a concentration in Technology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Westfield State University.
