Biography

Robin Leigh Massie has established herself as a versatile artist in opera, concert, and musical theatre. She made her New York City Opera debut as Flora in Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of The Screw and has performed with Tulsa, Kentucky, Glimmerglass, and Rockland Opera companies. Other operatic roles have been in The Magic Flute, Hansel and Gretel, Falstaff, Don Giovanni and Gianni Schicchi.

In musical theater, Ms. Massie performed in The Mikado, The Music Man, Oklahoma!, and The Secret Garden. She sang the role of Jellylorum in Andrew Lloyd Weber’s CATS in Hamburg, Germany. She also toured South America singing the role of Christine in Ivan Jacobs’ The Phantom of the Opera. She has sung with the New York City Ballet in Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. On the concert stage, Ms. Massie has sung in Haydn’s The Creation and in Leonard Bernstein’s Mass.
