A native of Reading, PA, Joshua Good graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music education in 2013 from Temple University, where he studied double bass with Robert Kesselman. An undergraduate string methods class got him started on playing violin, a skill he now uses every day in his teaching. He began his role as an elementary and middle school string teacher in The School District of Philadelphia a few months after graduating. He furthered his studies with a Master of Music in Music Education from Kent State University.
Joshua lives nearby in Bucks County with his wife, Ruth (a Cairn graduate!), and his two daughters. A member of Riverstone Church, he enjoys playing bass guitar on the worship team.
