Biography

Mrs. Allison Kieselowsky teaches English Composition at Cairn University. While teaching high school English, she worked with varying foci and grades, from world literature to British literature to American literature, coordinating literature and writing courses with the history department to develop a unified humanities curriculum. She served as chair of the English department at Trinity Christian School (Fairfax, VA), overseeing the scope and sequence of language arts across the grades. After nearly a decade in the classroom with senior high students, she began to work with struggling readers and families who support them. Today, she splits her time between family literacy support and teaching at Cairn.
