Melissa earned her BSW and BS in Bible from Cairn University and has spent over 20 years in the non-profit sector. Most of her career was with Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she held various roles ranging from caseworker to program director. Before coming to Cairn, Melissa worked with National Philanthropic Trust as a member of their Donor Relations Team.
Melissa volunteers with the children’s ministry at her church, teaching and mentoring the 3rd-grade girls. Melissa cheers on her nephews at their various sporting events in her free time. She also likes to run, rock climb, listen to podcasts covering current events, read, visit local restaurants with friends, and travel.
