Rebecca Cella

Becky Cella is the Director of Student Teaching and Field Placement, as well as the Secondary Program Advisor in the School of Education for Secondary Math, Social Studies, and English education majors. She teaches a variety of education courses including Foundations of Education and Philosophy of Education. Prior to joining Cairn University, she taught high school English at International Christian High School and Esperanza Charter High School.

In addition to working at Cairn, she is an active participant in the children’s ministry at Riverstone church, teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible school. She enjoys speaking on educational topics such as classroom management and mentorship to local Christian schools, conferences, and para church organizations.

Her husband, Matt, is also a Cairn graduate, and they have two children, Gavin and Grayson.
