Ecclesiastes is the most quoted book by atheists and religious skeptics. It is a book inspired by God and included in the Bible. However, many Christians are puzzled by verses that imply there is no life after death and to eat, drink, and be merry as though that is all there is to life. These perplexities will be part of our study of the book at Women of Grace at Cairn University.

Pat Cawood Graybill has a long history of teaching women’s Bible classes in the Philadelphia area. In addition to teaching a Bible study at Cairn University for women in the surrounding community, she has also taught women’s Bible studies through BCM, Lancaster Bible College, and churches in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as for wives of Philadelphia’s professional athletes. She is a popular speaker at ladies’ retreats and summer Bible conferences such as Word of Life, Sandy Cove, and Harvey Cedars.
Pat and her late husband, Dr. John Cawood, have two children and nine grandchildren. Both of Pat’s children attended Cairn University, where their father taught for thirty years.
She has appeared in the AVM video, The Bible: Myth, Mystery, or Miracle. She has won awards for leadership and volunteerism from both Cairn University and Lancaster Bible College.
Pat now lives with her husband, A.K. Graybill, in Lititz, PA. They serve together on the board of the Pocket Testament League, which distributes small Bibles at events such as the 2000 Summer Olympics and George W. Bush’s inauguration.
