Biography

Mrs. Catherine Wayman teaches special education courses at the University.

Starting her educational journey at Cairn (then PBU), Mrs. Wayman graduated with degrees in social work and Bible. After graduating from Temple University with her MSW, she passed her LSW and BCBA exams within the same 18 months.

Mrs. Wayman started her professional career as a Therapeutic Support Staff for New Story in 2007, working with children diagnosed with Autism and Emotional Disturbances. She held several additional positions within the organization in community-based programs as well as the special education schools. In 2013 she transitioned to her current position of Director of Learning and Quality for Salisbury Management Inc.. In this position, she oversees the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical quality assurance activities for special education schools, community-based, and residential behavioral health programs. She also leads the design, development, and delivery of appropriate learning and other performance enhancement solutions driven by needs assessments. She has been married to Luke Wayman since 2008.
