Ann Rivera served as Director of Student Teaching and Field Placement and Associate Professor at Cairn University for ten years before stepping down to serve as an adjunct professor in December 2015. Before teaching at Cairn, Ann was a teacher and administrator in the School District of Philadelphia for 25 years. She has taught courses in cultural and linguistic diversity, urban issues, inclusionary practices and special education. She has a B.S in Secondary English Education from Taylor University; a Master’s in Education/TESOL From Temple University, and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Gwynedd-Mercy University.
Ann and her family have attended Calvary Chapel Philly for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and being a grandma.
