Want to connect with Cairn Students?  On Thursday, August 24 from 6:00-7:30pm, we will be hosting a special ministry opportunity for our new incoming students.  This event will be held in Heritage Hall (on-campus resident hall) from 6-7:30pm.  We are only accepting 12 ministries for this event.  If you would like to attend this event, please register online.

Otherwise, we have the following dates of September 1 and 8, 2017 set aside for ministries to come to Cairn University. September 1 has a special focus on local churches in the area while September 8 will focus on other organizations.  Each ministry opportunity event allows you the option to come to Cairn, meet with students, and share the opportunities that are available through your ministry for them.  We invite you to set up a display in our Mason Activity Center on Sept. 1 and 8.  You may attend our chapel service at 10 am in the Chatlos Chapel (in the Smith Administration Building) and connect with students looking for ministry opportunities. Lunch in our Furman Dining Commons will be provided for you.

Registration will be on a first come, first served basis and we will accept up to 12 ministries per day. This will allow for more personal interaction with students and other ministry leaders. Tables are limited so please register today.

Student Ministry Details

  • Students are available from September through mid-December and from mid-January through mid-May.  Occasionally students are available for summer ministries.
  • Ministry opportunities are kept on file and made available to students for one (1) year through various vehicles of communication (bulletin boards, email, website).
  • Ministry opportunities and requests often outnumber the students. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that a student will be available for your church or organization. However, we will make every effort to publicize and promote your ministry opportunity.
  • Students select their own ministries. They are not assigned.
  • Ministry opportunities are meant to provide training for our students. We ask that you agree to provide a mentor for any students serving with you.
