Building Campus Community

Student Life and Athletics

As we focus on the recruitment of new students, we are keenly aware of the need to improve and create additional spaces for building community among our students, faculty, and alumni, as well as facilitating outreach to the local community. These new and renovated spaces will create new opportunities for athletics and student life. We are in the final stages of finalizing architectural designs, securing permits, and obtaining construction cost estimates.

About G. Patrick Stillman

As a businessman, former professional football player, and a parent of a Penn State football alum, G. Patrick Stillman—affectionately known as Pat—and his wife, Beulah, have spearheaded the efforts to invest in facilities supporting student life and athletics across campus.

Stillman states, “God is the giver of all gifts. God says, ‘Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.’ (Proverbs 3:9–10). Throughout my life, God has taught me that when I make a faith promise, God’s going to help me keep it.”

Groundbreaking for the G. Patrick Stillman Athletic Complex is anticipated for Fall 2020.
