Global Mission Week 2018

The World at Our Doorstep

JANUARY 29 – FEBRUARY 2, 2018

The biggest migration in human history is taking place right now. The world is literally at our doorstep. Immigrants, refugees, international students, and diaspora communities in Philadelphia make it possible for this year’s Global Mission Week to focus on the mission of the church to the world in our backyard.  We will learn what ethnic groups are represented in the Philadelphia region and how the ministry of the gospel is reaching out to these communities. By reaching the world at our doorstep, we prepare to reach the world.

Gabe graduated from NYU in 1996, moved to Philadelphia in 1998, and went to Seminary for a year, during which time he and his wife started attending Spirit & Truth Fellowship in Hunting Park. He taught kindergarteners for six years and became the Development Director for three years until God called him to start By Grace Alone Frankford Church.

Gabe obtained his Masters in Divinity from Biblical Seminary in June of 2012 and works full-time as Servant Pastor of By Grace Alone. He and his wife Pearl, along with their two girls – Mia and Juliet – moved into the Frankford community in 2010. He strives to lead his family and church in continuing to be a sign, instrument and foretaste of the Kingdom of God in the Frankford and Northwood areas of Philadelphia as they all seek to accept, transform and equip all who God brings their way. Gabe is fully committed to serving his community.
