Denver Alumni Draw Close to Cairn, Even in Their Own Backyard!

Denver AlumniOn Friday, June 24, the Denver Alumni Chapter held a meeting at the home of alumnus Keith Johnson ’75 and his wife, Richene, in Parker, Colorado. Traveling from distances as short as just down the road and as far as Colorado Springs and Estes Park, participating alumni represented a wide range of experiences, backgrounds, and history with Cairn University. These alumni have spent many years working and serving Christ in fields ranging from the pastorate and missions to consulting and financial planning.
The group enjoyed fellowship over dinner and then retired to the beautiful patio where they talked about their experiences, the University’s role in their lives, and some of the things going on in their lives presently. Alumni Director Nate Wambold and Senior Vice President Russ Nixon talked about what is happening at Cairn and the future vision for the University to be laid out at Homecoming 2016. The group was pleased to stay in touch with University and to let the alumni office know any way it can be of assistance in the future.
Each guest left with a special Cairn University Hydro Flask and printed materials about Cairn. Look for many more events like this one in the near future, and contact Alumni Director Nate Wambold at [email protected] or 215.702.4393 if you are interested in hosting an event in your region.
