The NASBA’s 2017 report, published in Summer 2018, ranked Cairn University four out of five for their first-time candidate pass rate of 75%, edging out Villanova University (71%). Cairn shares this fourth place spot with Grove City College.
“The School of Business is proud of its alumni and their success with the CPA exam,” said Evan Curry, dean of the School of Business. “Our accounting program was recently upgraded to a BS in Accounting, which includes all of the courses required to succeed in the CPA exam.”
Many accounting students at the University choose to enroll in the dual-degree MBA program, which allows them to graduate with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in as few as five years. Through this program, students also earn the 150 credits required to sit for the CPA exam in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
