[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1536158636486{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Over the past several months, Cairn University has approved 16 new academic programs for Fall 2018.
As a result of funds raised through the Forward Campaign, the University celebrates the addition of five new biology programs to the school’s curriculum. Incoming freshmen will be able to enroll in one of the following programs: biology (BA), biology (BS), pre-med, pre-physical therapy, or biology (minor).
Housed in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, these new program offerings will integrate concrete biological study with other disciplines such as history, sociology, and psychology. With an education built on the University standard of 30 credits of Bible and theology, students enrolled in these programs will graduate with the scientific and biblical foundation need to pursue a career or further study in the world of science.
The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences will also be seating students for the new politics major. Studying politics will prepare students for for careers in politics, government, or the military, as well as graduate studies in law, political science, public policy, and foreign affairs. Additional programs include Arabic and Spanish language minors.
The School of Business has also expanded their program offerings. Beginning in Fall 2018, students will be able to enroll in sports management or marketing programs. Both majors offer courses and training that appeal to a broad range of interests and the option to enroll in the five-year MBA program. The five-year program has been created for the computer science major as well. Healthcare management is also a major option for students come fall.
An associate’s degree in biblical studies and a sports ministry minor have also been created for incoming students.
Cairn continues to expand program offerings in order to serve students who desire a biblically integrated education. Whether pursuing medicine, politics, business, or Bible, all of the University’s programs produce well-educated, professionally competent, men and women of character.

Hall of Fame Vietnam Veteran David Christian Speaks to Students
On Wednesday, November 15, Vietnam Veteran David Christian was invited to speak to Cairn University students. Christian, originally from Bucks County, is the youngest most decorated Vietnam War veteran, having
