As part of the University, each student becomes part of the Cairn family. Often, students and professors study, share meals and fellowship, and become part of one another’s lives during their time together. The campus is large enough to offer a broad cultural experience, and small enough to provide you with a supportive, community atmosphere.Take a look at just some of the ways you can get involved!
Student Groups & Organizations
Student groups promote leadership opportunities, spiritual maturity, and cultural awareness. Students walk along side one another, on the same path toward responsible decision making, spiritual growth, transformation, and character development.Professional Clubs
Cairn intercollegiate athletics aims to provide the student-athlete with the opportunity to demonstrate excellence on the field of play, integrity in competition, and a desire to win while competing to their utmost. Learn more about Cairn Highlander Athletics.
Intramural sports are an exciting way to exercise and maintain physical fitness while developing strong friendships. Join athletic teams with students, faculty, and staff who come together for fellowship, camaraderie, and team sports outside of traditional competition.
The performing arts provide students with a unique opportunity to be a part of a larger production, performed for faculty, staff, students, and the surrounding community. Recent productions include Much Ado About Nothing, The Music of Irving Berlin, and Shadowlands.
Cairn also offers many different musical ensembles that students and members of the community are welcome to participate in.
The University Ministry Center has created partnerships with several urban ministries in the Philadelphia area. Students are encouraged to reach out to the surrounding community in response to a growing need for tangible resources and aid. Through strategic relationships and the gathering of resources, our hope is to serve those in need, effecting change in the lives of the people living in our area.
Student Life, Student Senate, the University Ministry Center, Health Services and Athletics are working in a variety of ways to keep the following service projects as ongoing, annual or semi-annual events:
