Undeterred by an early winter storm, over 300 participants arrived at Philadelphia Biblical University on Saturday, October 29, 2011 for Agora: 2011. Students and members of the community gathered for a conference on the theme of Heart, Mind, and Soul: what does the Bible say about our inner self? The Tears of Christ
On Wednesday, October 26, 2011, Makoto Fujimura, internationally known artist, author, speaker and advocate for the arts visited Philadelphia Biblical University to speak about his Four Holy Gospels project, The Tears of Christ. Over the past few years, PBU and Fujimura have had many interactions and Mr. Fujimura has spoken at conferences, in chapels, and given special lectures at the University. Read more.
Board Members Interviewed in Chapel
On Thursday and Friday, October 20 and 21, 2011, Philadelphia Biblical University’s Board of Trustees held their bi-annual meeting. On Thursday evening, the Board, student leaders, and administrators gathered for an evening meal served by PBU’s Pioneer Catering in the Chatlos Chapel.
Arts@PBU: Theodore Prescott Art Exhibit
Prescott’s pieces are a reflection of his desire to mix Christianity with modern culture. It is his hope that his art helps people to understand the importance for Christians to interact with culture. Read more.
PBU Expands Tennis Facility
Philadelphia Biblical University has added two additional courts to their tennis facility. In addition, lights have been added to all of the new and preexisting courts.
Williams Named Temple’s 2011 Distinguished Alumnus
Dr. Todd J. Williams has been honored by being awarded the distinguished alumnus for the College of Education in the 2011 gallery of success at Temple University. William’s is receiving this recognition for his work, leadership, and the impact he has made on the lives of students. Read more.

A Star is Born
On Friday night, October 7, 2011, Philadelphia Biblical University continued the celebration of its new Steinway Model D 58883 Concert Grand Piano with a formal dedication at the Symphony Orchestra Concert.
Bucks County Commissioners' Meeting
The Bucks County Commissioners met Wednesday morning in Manor Hall on the PBU campus. President Williams welcomed all in attendance.
